Having witnessed the brutal massacre of her entire family by Hutu men,
Frida received a blow to the head that was intended to kill.
She was then buried alongside her 15 family members.
Regaining consciousness sometime later, she was eventually helped from the grave
by a young man who worked for the family. Only she survived.
