2021 marked the centenary of Rotary in Australia, the first meeting having been held in Melbourne on 21st April 2021.
In recognition of this milestone achievement, the Rotary Club of Boronia arranged for the installation of a drinking fountain at Batterham Reserve, a popular recreational facility in The Basin. This project was undertaken in conjunction with Knox Council whereby Rotary purchased the stainless‑steel drinking fountain, complete with a dog bowl and appropriate artwork, and Knox Council arranged and paid for the installation and the cost of ongoing maintenance.
